Labor Day is an American Holiday that is always observed on the first Monday in September. It’s the last Summer holiday before Fall begins. Many people have a labor day barbeque, or party as the last bash of the summer, before the weather turns cool.
This holiday is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country. Each year we as a family try to get together, to share food, fun, and relax together before the school year starts. This is maybe what you'd see on our picnic table. I place the ribs in a large stock pot, that you would cook spaghetti in. I then pour in a 2 liter bottler of Coca Cola, 1 cup of Soy Sauce, and then fill the rest of pot with water just enough to cover the top of the ribs. Serves about 8, you can gauge between ½ pound to ¾ pound of ribs per person. Marna's Potato Salad
