Chocolate Sheet Cake

Chocolate Sheet Cake

2 cups sugar (Confectioners sugar)
2 cups flour
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
4 Tblsp. cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Icing

1 stick butter
1 Tblsp. cocoa
5 Tblsp. whole milk
Powdered Sugar

Sift flour and sugar into a large mixing bowl; set aside. In a small saucepan, mix butter, water and cocoa together. Bring to a rapid boil and pour over sugar and flour. Mix well with a electric mixer. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla; mix well and pour into greased and floured 18x12-inch sheet pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. For icing, in small saucepan, combine margarine, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil, remove from heat. Add enough powdered sugar to get a smooth icing texture. Ice cake while hot.
