Watermark Pads in ScrapbookingThird Technique While playing around with some tags made from metal for a layout, I decided I wanted the crevices around the words to be darker so the words would show up better. I covered the entire surface of the metal tag with the Watermark substance, and then followed by covering all the Watermark with black chalk. Using an eye shadow applicator, I worked the Watermark and chalk into all the nooks and crannies. Then I buffed the chalk away from the places I wanted shiny metal, and left the chalk in the creases. This was a really good, easy, and inexpensive way to antique or add definition to otherwise flat looking metal. Additional Resources: Want more information?
