it appears that Java technology, combined with the singular nature
of chemistry problems, opens the door to something much more
ambitious. Indeed, the path of choice for many embarking on
this journey is the creation of a Java-based front end software
package that can serve as a user interface for a wide range of
chemistry simulation packages. In the coming weeks we'll
look at what is going on in this exciting area.
