These illuminate the dream conflicts as we see them, and not necessarily as others do. Using these five conceptions, the dreamer may be able to achieve what Calvin Hall considered his content analysis system to be useful for identifying the personal thoughts which preclude the individual's behaviour, and reading the dream maps of the human mind.
