Science Contests and Competitions

Start scrounging for discarded doohickeys and leftover thingamajigs, then put them together in weird combinations to come up with a complicated machine that basically does - something uncomplicated. This annual contest that promotes math, science, and engineering principles, looks to be as much fun as it is educational.
