The Science Fiction theme only helps the writer to be totally bizarre and write what others only dream about. Which just goes to prove some people have some pretty way out dreams. I believe that readers of Science Fiction have a connection with a reality that normal people could never comprehend, the education they have received since birth has tried to make them conform to unproven theories of evolution and religions that control and restrict their minds.
Even in the first cave painting aliens and spacecraft have been depicted and some of the oldest known civilizations worshiped god figures that would fly down from the sky. Roswell and other reported incidents have been suppressed and dismissed by people who thought themselves controllers of the knowledge the majority should receive, hiding the truth. Science Fiction writers however can research incidents however diverse, manipulate the information from crop circles to abduction, maybe even just flashing lights in the sky and write some tremendous novels designed to make any normal thinking person question the reality of our world. From Signs, Close Encounters and even to ET the reality and abstract obscurity makes readers question the reports, which are so suppressed on an almost daily basis. There must be a point when the majority must challenge the minority to reveal the truth and allowing for democratic process the truth should be common knowledge. Take Roswell as an example and look at the books, films and numerous other depictions of this government-suppressed report have been presented to the world. If only one percent of the reports were made known and their reality exposed and not hidden for fear that the worlds population would suffer an anxiety attack writers would have a whole new mine of information to manipulate and write about. So what if when War of the Worlds was presented on a radio show there was mass hysteria, when ET hit the screen everyone wanted one as a pet! Looking back through history there has been some excellent incidents turned into novels and today the Internet is full of web pages of what are presumed alien sightings, abductions and encounters waiting to be revealed in either the true context or manipulated into a fantasy form with a little poetic license. Writers today have an incredible armory of information to manipulate but the world has more information hidden by the minority who feel they have the right to know but you can only have fantasies about. The difference between truth and reality must be real evidence and because I don't eat so many bananas I have difficulty with the evolution theory. Go To Page: 1 2
