Big Bang Theory.

It does not happen very often but when given the chance to sit back and contemplate the theories of life, evolution and the universe we exist in I believe that any Science Fiction writer is in danger of having a brain overload. Are the creators of these new theories really scientists or Science Fiction writers who have found a way to sell their work disguised as a science paper for other boffins of their community to enjoy. If so do they make more money than the average new release? Lets take a look at some of the theories that intelligent people wow at, normal people seem to accept without question and Science Fiction writers dissect and manipulate for the pleasure of the reader.

The Evolutionary Theory.

In the beginning we are led to believe that some mud had some microbes in it, which grew into a multitude of different shaped animals some bigger than the average house whose only reason to exist, was to eat, mostly each other. When these animals mysteriously died a monkey decided that it was tired of swinging around in the trees and it was time to stand up straight and evolve. It is only the missing link that makes me a skeptic on this theory. After all most monkeys must have a desire to evolve from eating bananas and enjoy a fast food feast having driven to it in a car which is a lot easier on the arms. This theory was wonderfully reversed and almost comically portrayed in the Planet of the Apes books and later films. So far this makes the score Scientists 0 - Science Fiction Writer 1.

The Big Bang Theory.

The creation of the universe we live in and continue to explore which as technology improves seems to be getting bigger by the day has baffled the scientific world to how it all came to be but they have invented the big bang theory. The religious followers of many religions have their theory on this creative event but I will save that for another article. The Science Fiction writer however has a secret weapon to answer this question. Captain James T Kirk has been, seen and conquered bringing the knowledge that everyone needs to answer the question to the world of the reader and film viewer. But the skeptic would have to question the theory of the scientific community. What exactly went bang? Score Scientists 0 - Science Fiction Writer 2.
