Dimensions.

It has been a confusion and dream, an interface between reality and the mind of man. A new existence which may be real in another perspective but imaginary and exciting to the normal life and existence people have to live in on a day-to-day basis. The extra and new perception which all people experience has been documented and explored from years ago and will continue to be attempted to be explained or proved in the years to come.

With one of the oldest known texts delving into this experience the 'Book of Revelations' and the great minds of Nostradamus and Einstein exploring at different times, one exploiting the theory the other trying to prove it. This beautiful unknown limitless topic is the new material waiting to be invented and glamorized by the Science Fiction Writer.

Most Science Fiction now is written with some back ground knowledge in the science of today looking into the future of dreams which will become the reality of tomorrow. A minority of writers however take the plunge into the unknown void of the imagination and lead their readers into the dream existence which captivates in a hypnotic way the mind to what most people have experienced but don't want to believe, an other dimension.

Maybe life as we know it is the dream (I love the Matrix), but the reality is when we wake up. Writers of Science Fiction often push into the spiritual realms but have a reluctance to question religion (Independence Day may not be the best example). However numerology and mathematical equations lead to an acceptance of a theory when all else fails. Symbols and hieroglyphics have dominated every new acceptance of history and appear in almost every Science Fiction novel written in some way or form as a new or advanced language or means of communication and every one can be linked to an intelligence or being which has the control or ability to traverse the dimensions of time and space. But where did these signs and messages written by ancient scholars originate. Which dimensional barrier did the recorder of this text break to become the first link in the evolutionary chain to become the Science Fiction writer of today? From the simplest imaginary children's story 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' to the complexities of George Orwell's '1984', dimensions can be used and exploited to stimulate and excite the readers imagination possibly through their own subliminal experience to a new reality created from an experience/reality you the writer have chosen to share.
