The Dead Zone News

According to Fangoria, there is a rumour going around that "Young Indiana Jones" star Sean Patrick Flanery will be appearing in the season finale of the USA Network series "The Dead Zone," an episode entitled "Destiny," and then his character, a politician named Greg Stillson, will become a recurring character in the second season of the show.

Charmed News

A fan site for the WB series "Charmed" has posted what it claims are spoilers for the show's fifth season, which is moving to a new timeslot starting September 29th. Angel News

According to the Sci-Fi Wire, David Simkins, the man who was hired to replace "Angel" co-creator David Greenwalt as 'show runner' of the hit WB vampire series "Angel" has 'abruptly left the show' due to "creative differences." Simkins was hired less than three short months ago when Greenwalt reduced his involvement with the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" spin-off to take the helm of ABC's new supernatural series "Miracles."

Farscape News

Fans of "Farscape" rejoice: Simon & Schuster Interactive announced that a computer game based on the Sci-Fi Channel's hit series has arrived in stores. The game features the voices of series cast members. For more on the game check out the game's official web site.

Stargate SG-1 News

According to the Sci-Fi Wire, Corin Nemec, who portrays Jonas Quinn on "Stargate SG-1," told them that fans have 'embraced' his character 'for the most part.' Nemec's character was intended to fill the gap in the series left by Michael Shanks (who portrayed the beloved Daniel Jackson in the series) when he departed the series at the end of the show's fifth season.

Nemec reportedly said in the interview given at Comic-Com International in San Diego, that at first there was a "small backlash" from the fans who were "ardent fans of Michael Shanks" but that for the most part the fan reaction has been "pretty good." Nemec also stated that he was glad to be a part of the show.

Other Sci-Fi News

According to Sci-Fi Wire, Ron Perlman, best know for his role as Vincent on the popular series "Beauty and the Beast," told fans at Comic-Con International which was held in San Diego that he views Hellboy, the comic book character that he will be portraying in director Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of the comic book of the same name, as 'kind of the ultimate slacker.' Perlman reportedly told the fans that Hellboy was the 'biggest and most epic underachiever.'
