According to the Dark Horrizons site, the reports of schedule conflicts for the cast of the upcoming "X-Men 2" feature film are just rumours. In a report posted recently on the site an informer reportedly said that the reports of the cast and crew of the film beginning production in early 2002 are unconfirmed because the date has yet to be set for the start of filming. Although the report did say that on actor thought that filming may start in late summer of next year.

For fans that want to learn more about some of the actors from the new Trek series there are a few official sites to go to. Catherine Monson, the web mistress of Brannon Braga's site BrannonBraga.com, will be running the new "officially authorised" sites for Dominic Keating who portrays Malcolm Reed, Anthony Montgomery who portrays Travis Mayweather, Linda Park who portrays Hoshi Sato and Connor Trinneer who portrays Charles 'Trip' Tucker.
All of the sites include message-boards and will be updated with information on the actors and their future appearances.

According to TrekGalaxy.com, some fans don't like the theme song of the new Trek series. The song entitled "Faith Of My Heart" was written by Dianne Warren, has become so 'unpopular' with some Trekkies that, according to the site which has posted a copy of Kevin Williamson's (Calgary Sun reporter) interview with Brannon Braga, they have set their collective phasers to "kill" and taken aim.
"We can't please everybody," Braga said about the fans dislike of "Faith Of My Heart" in the article. He stated that there are some fans who "love the song" and others who think "it's cheesy". Braga also stated in response to the fan's dislike of the song that it would grow on the fans in time but that if it didn't they should "turn the volume down."
According to the article picketers have shown up at Paramount with placards that read "Love Enterprise. Hate the song." The fans reportedly showed up with a thousand signature petition in protest of the song. (Note: I, myself, like the song! )
