In Dark Angel News

Jennifer Blanc, who portrays Kendra, told the Sci-Fi Channel's news network the Sci-Fi Wire that her character might become an informant for Eyes Only this coming season. She reportedly told them that there are several storylines being discussed by the producers. Blanc also thought that there may be more science fiction type storylines coming up, but that she wasn't sure if they would bring her character, Kendra, in on any of them.

In Star Trek News

According to reports on both the TrekToday and TrekWeb sites, Star Trek: TNG' LeVar Burton, who will most likely return to the role of Geordi LaForge for the upcoming 10th Star Trek film, reportedly told fans at the Slanted Fedora 35th anniversary convention in Las Vegas that Whoopi Goldberg will make a cameo appearance in an early scene in the movie.

Goldberg's bartender/confidant character, Guinan, a fan favourite from Star Trek: TNG will, according to rumour, appear at the much rumored wedding of Commander William Riker (played by Jonathan Frakes) and Deanna Troi (played by Marina Sirtis).

In Sci-Fi Emmy News

The Technical Emmy Awards were handed out on September 8th in Pasadena at the 2001 Creative Arts Awards. The Sci-Fi Channel's original miniseries, Frank Herbert's Dune, won two awards as did UPN's Star Trek: Voyager.

In FOX News

Fox has reportedly picked up a new sci-fi series entitled Neverworld from Kelsey Grammer, Robert Nathan and Paramount Network TV. According to Variety, the series, under development for the fall of 2002, will tell the tale of a young man who somehow lands in a "parallel universe".
