According reports in the Hollywood Reporter Star Trek: The Next Generation's Patrick Stewart along with Martin Short will be putting voice to characters in the new Paramount and Nickelodeon computer generated Sci-Fi film entitled "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius". The film will reportedly be directed by John Davis, is scheduled to begin production in January.

Jimmy Neutron reportedly is the story of a young boy genius who travels to outer space in order to rescue the parents from his town after they're taken by aliens. The film is slated to be part of a planned franchise for Nickelodeon. In the film Debi Derryberry will voice Jimmy, Rob Paulsen will voice Jimmy's best friend Carl Weezer, while Stewart voices the alien leader King Goobot, and Short voice Ooblar Goobot's sidekick.

Variety reported that promotional 2001 Lord of the Rings calendars showed up on eBay a day after they had been sent out to the press. The calendars reportedly drew bids that were as high as $70.

The Hollywood Reporter has reportedly confirmed a report that had originally appeared on Sci- Fi Wire that the star of the defunct Jack of All Trades, Bruce Campbell, will have a cameo role in Sam Raimi's upcoming Spider-Man feature film. Campbell will reportedly portray a ring announcer during a fight sequence. The film is set to begin production next month.

According to Trekweb.com, the latest issue of the British Star Trek Monthly magazine, has an exclusive interview Star Trek: Voyager' s Kate Mulgrew. In the interview, Mulgrew reportedly talks about the show's seventh and final season, what she hopes for the end of the show and what her plans for the future. The Totally Kate site has posted a transcript of the interview.
