It's Official...this season is Xena: Warrior Princess' sixth season is it's last. Studios USA Domestic Television president Steve Rosenberg and the shows’ creator and executive producer Rob Tapert made the announcement early last week.
Mr. Rosenberg also confirmed Bruce Campbell's earlier statement, that Campbell's series Jack of All Trades had been cancelled. It's been reported by Variety, that UPN has asked noted filmmaker Wes Craven, who is best known for the horror film series Nightmare on Elm Street and the short lived TV series Nightmare Cafe, to both produce and direct a so far untitled Sci-Fi pilot. The pilot is about a woman who is a specialist in the field of Artificial Intelligence and a millionaire who explore the paranormal. Variety also reported that the network has asked Deep Blue Sea's writer to create the pilot for another new Sci-Fi series that would be entitled Jen-X. Which would chronicle the adventures of a twenty-something hero who has been enhanced with cybernetics. Highlander star Adrian Paul is set to play a vampire in his next project, an upcoming supernatural thriller entitled "A Breed Apart". According to the actor's Official site filming of the feature film will begin in November. The actor will play the vampire Aaron Gray who teams with a homicide detective, to be portrayed by Bokeem Woodbine, to solve the murder of another cop (Woodbine's partner) by a vampire.
