A couple more Toronto Trek Tidbits...

Did you know that Xena's Alexandra Tydings recently got a scuba diving licence before the filming of the episode "Married with Fishsticks"? It's true. She was looking forward to using those new scuba diving skills in the episode, but the fish tails were too heavy and with them on, she could barely move. The director then decided maybe the tails were too boyant, so they strapped ankle weights on the two actresses (Tydings and Meighan Desmond , who plays Discord), and out of camera range at the bottom of the screen there were a couple of men holding them down.

Outside of conventions neither Claire Stansfield nor Alexandra Tydings get recognized. Tydings says she's gotten recognized twice outside of conventions, one time while she was using her credit card.

Claire Stansfield is planning to do a documentary called Con Artist, about the conventions, which would star Alexandra Tydings.
