For Space: Above and Beyond fans. The Sci-Fi Channel will be airing a six episode SAAB marathon on Aug. 9th. The marathon will begin at 10 am EST. The episodes are: The 2-part pilot, The Farthest Man From Home, Dark Side of the Sun, Mutiny and Ray Butts.
14 year old Michelle Trachtenberg, who has been seen in Harriet the Spy and Inspector Gadet, will be joining the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for it's fifth season. She will play the character of Dawn, a young Psychic friend of Buffy's.
Kevin Sorbo has, according an article in the New York Daily News, been signed for two years for Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. The former star of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys reportedly stated that he hopes Hercules fans will follow him to the new series. Sorbo will play Captain Dylan Hunt.
There's a rumor that the USA Network's series La Femme Nikita might be returning as a TV movie. The series, which is currently finishing up it's final season, was cancelled because of a dispute between the network and the Warner Bros. which produced the show.
According to the 11th Hour Website, the paranormal series that NBC cancelled, The Others, is dead, despite comments made by a Sci-Fi channel Exec that the Channel maybe interested in reviving the show. This is according to comments made to the site by the series' executive producer Glen Morgan.
Word has it that Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor will be appearing at next year's Official Xena and Hercules convention. For more information check out Creation's Website.
