Sci-Fi News UpdateThe official site for Star Wars has announced that Jay Laga'aia, who portrayed the villian Draco on Xena: Warrior Princess, has been cast as a "Loyal Security Officer" in the new Star Wars movie Episode II. Star Trek: Voyager's Tim "Tuvok" Russ has a new CD out. The songs on the album include: "Crossroads", "Where Do the Children Play", "Can't Do It Like That", "Money Talks", "Great Divide" and more. Other songs include three songs that were written by the actor: "I Can't Imagine", "Crazy" and "Strangers". The soundtrack for J. Michael Straczynski's Crusade is out. It features songs/scores composed by Evan H. Chen for the short-lived series, including "Sorrow", "Alwyn's Story" and "Visitors". Star Trek: Voyager executive producer Rick Berman has reportedly told the Star Trek Communicator, the official magazine for Star Trek, that he'll start the script for the pilot episode of the newest ST series soon. The series is shooting for a launch date of the fall of next year. The newest Star Trek feature film is awaiting the go ahead to start the script. The film is tentatively slated for release around Thanksgiving of next year. There's a new vampire series coming soon to a monitor near you later on this year. The series entitled Dark Commandos: Empires Fall is set to star Justin Neal Thompson as vampire Non Agememnon Gage, Amber Phillips as Sue Janic, Christopher Boicelli as vampire Ed Torin and Brad Upton as Dreyfuss.
