The Fantasy Magazine founded by the late Marion Zimmer Bradley, author of The Mists of Avalon and other novels, will reportedly cease publication in October unless a buyer is found. The magazine has been published quarterly since 1988.
The X-Files' David Duchovny has reportedly said again that he's "open to doing an eighth season" of the popular series only if the price is right, according to reports from the Associated Press. Star Trek: TOS's Leonard Nimoy has apparently thrown his support to the fan-run Excelsior campaign. He reportedly told the iFuse web site he would "support such an effort" during a signing for his spoken word CD, Star Trek: Spock vs Q. Star Trek Away Team, an upcoming game from Activision, allows the gamers to take the role of captain and lead an elite commando squad. The game is slated to begin shipping in 2001. It's set in the Star Trek: TNG universe. Robert Hewitt Wolfe, who will helm the new Gene Roddenberry series Andromeda, has said that the series "won't be your father's Star Trek clone" according to the Space.com site. Tribune Entertainment has reportedly committed to 44 episodes, two seasons and the premiere, which is set for the fall.
