Sci-Fi TV NewsAccording to colomnist Malcom Perry from the Vancouver Sun, X-Files star David Duchovny, whose contract runs out at the end of the X-Files' current season, is being offered as much as one million dollars an episode to return to the X-Files for an eigth season. Perry also reported that, if Duchovny says "no", the show may go on with Gillian Anderson as FBI Agent Dana Scully and a new actor in the role of Mulder. Anderson's contract has another year to go before it runs out. Perry goes on to suggest that the show would return to Vancouver to shoot. Executives at Fox have made it clear that they would like the show to go on past the current season and want to figure out a way to make that happen. Meanwhile, the network is geting ready to shoot an X-Files spinoff featuring The Lone Gunmen characters. The new show is slated to begin shooting as early as July. Great news for fans of New Zealand actor Marton Csokas, Xena: Warrior Princess' Borias. According to TheOneRing.net site the New Zealand actor will portray Galadriel's husband in the feature film trilogy 'The Lord of the Rings'. Csokas has appeared in various episodes of both Xena and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as various characters. According to his Official site Clive Barker of Hellraiser fame, is set to make a rare on camera appearance in an ucoming episode of the series 'The Others', NBC's supernatural thriller. The episode is tentatively set to air on March 25th. The FX network will begin airing all nine of the Harsh Realm episodes on March 24th. The nine include the six episodes that Fox never aired.
