Sci-Fi TV News Update

The Sci-Fi Channel will begin running reruns of Xena: Warrior Princess starting the first Tuesday of February 2000. The series premieres as a part of the SCI FI Channel's "Four Play" programming strategy, which features four hours of back-to-back episodes on weekday evenings.

"Four Play" programming has been set up for Monday through Wednesday. Xena will run each Tuesday starting at 7 p.m. The lineup includes The Outer Limits (Mondays) and Tales from the Crypt (Wednesdays).

Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura of ST: TOS), is slated appear in an upcoming episode of GvsE as Iris McNeil, the mother of lead character Henry McNeil.

Relic Hunter has jumped into the number one ratings slot in the Nielsen's Ratings for first-run action and drama TV series for the week ending Dec. 12th. The series beat out Beastmaster, which held the spot since it's debut two months ago.
