Here are some of the Best and highest rated Sci-Fi TV Shows of all-time.
2) Babylon 5 - Babylon 5 has become one of the favourite shows of many Sci-Fi fans around the world. Like Star Trek: The Original series, Babylon 5 has had to over come tremendous odds. For each of the five years Babylon 5 was on the air it had to fight to return after each season. After it's five year run it was followed by a short-lived spin-off entitled Crusade. 3) Xena: Warrior Princes - Since Xena first aired, the show has fast grown in popularity. The show's stars Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor has also gained enormous popularity with fans. The popular series has produced hundreds of fan sites, and inspired hundreds of bards to write stories about their favourite show and characters. 4) Space: Above and Beyond - This short-lived series attracted a huge following from the moment it first aired. The basic premise of this show was 5) Dr. Who - First created as a Children's Sci-Fi show Doctor Who soared to worldwide popularity, celebrating its 30th anniversary on the 23rd of November 1993. Seven actors played the Doctor over the years the one of the last being in 1989, when the last episode entitled "Survival" was aired in December of that year and in the Television movie in 1996. 6) Quantum Leap - This classic series about Time travel starred Dean Stockwell and Scott Bakula. Bakula starred as a time traveller who leaped from time to time, year to year ending up in someone else's body. It was a perfect blend of action, adventure, drama, sci-fi and comedy rolled up together into one series. 7) Buffy: the Vampire Slayer - This cult classic was based on the movie of the same title, is about a teenage girl who learns of her destiny to fight evil (mainly in the form of Vampires). The show has since gained a huge fan following and spawned a spin-off series entitled Angel. 8) V: The Series - V: The Series is a classic series about Earth dealing with an invasion of aliens known as the Visitors. It began as a two-part mini-series but, the 'Powers that Be' wanted more. So producers created a weekly series in which the Visitors, lead by their Commander Diana (Jane Badler) returned to Earth after being driven back by the Resistance led by Mike Donovan and Juliet Parrish (Marc Singer and Faye Grant).
