Fox Network has cancelled Chris Carter's new Sci-Fi series Harsh Realm. According to reports the show has been officially cancelled due to it's poor ratings.

According to Variety Carter believes that his series was a good one but that it's promotion among other things was mishandled by the network. Carter is quoted as saying, "I have a feeling we're a victim of a much bigger problem at Fox."

The WB Network has ordered more episodes of the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off Angel. According to reports in Variety WB the show earned an average rating of 4.1 in the Nielsen ratings during the first three episodes.

There are rumors circulating that Glenn Quinn, who portrays Doyle, may leave the cast of Angel. According to the Dark Horizons website these rumors appear to be true. James Selman, Quinn's agent has reportedly confirmed the news.

There has been confusion about Quinn's character in recent times. Several reports stated that he was being 'unexpectedly kicked-off' of the show, while other reports suggest that Doyle will be killed of and brought back to life later on in the series.

The fate of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Martok and the Klingon Empire will be told in an upcoming two book saga written by J.G. Hertzler the actor who portrayed Chancellor Martok. The new series of Klingon books is being produced for Pocket Books.

The plot for the books is top-secret for now, however it is known that the storyline will include a Klingon supporting cast, including Worf. Also known is that the story chronicles Martok's return to the Empire after the Dominion war. Martok encounters treachery and much more. The anticipated release of the books is sometime in the year 2001.
