Sci-Fi TV News Update

Canda's Space the Imagination Station has announced it's fall line-up. Here are some of the highlights:

From the Executive Producer/Creator of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', Joss Whedon, comes 'Angel'. 'Angel' combines supernatural adventure with dark humour for the next chapter in Whedon's mythological 'Buffy' saga. As with 'Buffy', 'Angel' explores early adulthood, only this time the setting isn't Sunnydale, it's the "City of Angels", Los Angeles. 'Angel' stars David Boreanaz as Angel, Charisma Carpenter as Cordelia and Glenn Quinn as the disreputable mentor Doyle.

A new one-hour drama from Fireworks Entertainment, called 'Relic Hunter'. 'Relic Hunter' is an "Indiana Jones" type series about an unorthodox History professor (Tia Carrere), with a love for excitement and a passion for adventure.

Gene Roddenberry's 'Earth: Final Conflict', set in the early part of the next millennium, just after the arrival of 71 aliens called the Taelons or as they are also known, the 'Companions'. The Companions appear to have peaceful and good intentions, but behind those intentions lurks a darker and more sinister purpose including the creation of a hybrid warrior race and human experimentation. The series stars Lisa Howard, Leni Parker, Robert Leeshok and Ronald Sandoval.

Old favourites still going strong for the next season on Space are Babylon 5, Highlander: The Raven, Highlander, Star Trek: Deep Space 9, First Wave and others.
