Here's some news for all you Babylon 5 fans out there. Claudia Christian is going to be staring in a new Brittish Sci-Fi show called 'First Frontier'. The character she plays is named Ilonah Jones. Ilonah is a single mother who is a Freelance Marshall, working for the Nomad cities of Mars. Forced to quit the Peace Corps, she now faces the daunting task of making up for her past misdeeds as a bad mother and learning to be a friend to her 19 year old daughter.
First Frontier will also star Joe McGann as Noel Kennard, a man with a lot of bad history, Michael Sheard as Joseph Makian, Kennard's former boss, Jeremy Bulloch as Abelard, Simon Lewis as Quace, Corinne Britton as Mercury and Sue Witheridge as the voice of the computer Mata Hari. The role of Juno, Ilonah's daughter, is still as yet uncast. This project is still in the works, but so far it looks pretty good. The plot may air sometime in late 1999.
