After each of your lessons, think hard about what went on. Not only what improvements you made in the music you’re practicing, or what technical advancements. But all the little hidden lessons, like the one mentioned above. Don’t let years pass before you learn what you should have learned from your lesson. Suck all the learning you can out of each lesson. It will only make you stronger.
