Be organized , when you list an item on ebay they assign a unique item number to it. Use this number don't try to use your own or go by descriptions it will get very confusing. Mention the item number in all your communications with your customers that way if you happen to send an email to the wrong person they can quickly tell by the item number that it is not them and most will tell you of your error.

If you are on the road 24/7 one more important thing needs to worked out. Some customers will not want to pay you via credit card or paypal but instead will want to send you payment in the mail. You need to have a dependable method of knowing when these payments arrive so you can ship their item in a timely manner. If you are stationary for several weeks at a time you can use your local address for payment, but if you are moving all the time , consider a mail forwarding service for this most will watch for specified mail and notify you when it arrives.

This may not be the goose that laid the golden egg for all of us but it is there and it is open to all of us to try. Give it some time I think it's a great opportunity . Ebay offers all sorts of on line help, have questions ask.

One more point to remember is that unlike other outlets (garage sales and flea markets) Ebay auctions never, never close your items are up for sale 24/7
