Idle Ramblings

Who was not listening when everyone said to treat your fuel before you store your RV? Ya! That would be me. Trust me from now on I will be sure to add a stabilizer to the fuel. Sixty gallons of bad gas...lesson learned.

We went to an outdoor party the other night and they had one of those portable fireplace/ bbq grills. It did a great job of keeping the nip out of the air and this one could use propane as well as wood or charcoal.

Be careful doing this...turning your hobby into something that earns money can turn your hobby into work.

Why is it that when you return to your stored RV nothing seems to work the same as it did prior to storing the thing?

By the way when you take that last look over your shoulder as you leave your RV at the storage lot does the grill-opening look like a sad frown to you?

Do those big vacuum bags, you know the ones for storing seasonal cloths or blankets, really work or did I just buy a crappy brand?

When I sit down to write my wife thinks that it is time to talk god bless her. Does your mate do the same?

Is there any possible way to make grocery shopping fun, or at least interesting?

I never thought that home brewed beer would be worth the time.

Do you make the same new years resolutions year after year even though you always break them? And is your first resolution is to not break your resolutions this year? I resolve this year not to make any resolutions. Well one, to be on the road more.

Help me here I need ideas for more uses for the Wal-Mart type plastic bags, I think that they are multiplying when I'm not looking.

If you have no plans to do anything and nowhere to go the weather will be perfect.

You know one thing that scares me is that I thought my father was old when he said that this new music today is just noise.

As you may or may not know Suite101.com is undergoing internal changes. It is said that these changes will greatly affect future of the Suite101 its direction and its content. At this juncture I do not know what these changes will be or how they will affect me, therefore, at least for the time being I will continue to take an active part in suite101.
