Road Trip 2001 - Page 2

This year we again opted to travel with the group in “The Knight Train” for two games. The first was Tulane in New Orleans, next was Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. During the week between games we separated from the team and went into the mountains to Pidgin Forge, TN. Although the leaves are just starting to change to there fall colors, and not yet in their full splendor, I can tell you this is another recommendation for your “to do” list of places to see.

There is already talk of next year but my feeling at this point is to again use the motorhome, the travel time is longer but just the convinces of things like;

1. Having your own bed with you.

2. Not having to drag bags and suitcases in an out of motels.

3. Not having to use public restrooms.

4. Not having to locate restaurants for every meal.

5. Being able to cook what you want and when you want.

We still have some trip areas that we need to address, as far as how or where we will travel to next year. Will we go?   Yes!
