It was just about a year ago when my wife and I attended our first RV showing, the 2000 TAMPA RV SUPERSHOW in Tampa,Fl. We wanted to use this show, as we all do, to decide which RV will best fit our needs. We wanted to leave the show knowing the RV in which we would start our "full timing" life. We bothcarried our complimentary "flyer" bags and hand in hand we walked that Tampa fairgrounds inch by inch, foot by foot, 5th wheel by 5th wheel, motorhome by motorhome, vendor by vendor.

We went to all the seminars, presented by people that we had not herd of, listened to them talk on various topics pertaining to choosing, using and living in a RV. I must add that we did not ask any questions of the speakers nor did we talk to any of the near 20,000 people that were at the show that day. We left that 2000 TAMPA RV SUPERSHOW having sore feet, terrible headaches and massive sensory overload.

I guess we both needed some time to think and sort out the things that we had seen and heard, because for about a week the Rv show never really came up. then we started talking, slow and guarded at first, then it became a flood of, I think this, I saw that, do we want this, do we need that? Well we talked and we argued and after a time we decided that we had discovered answers to some questions but now there were new and different questions that needed answers.

Now we decided it was time to do our homework. WE read books, and magizines, we searched websites asked questions of rvers that we met and we joined an RV club. With a year of knowledge and exposure behind us we were now ready for the 2001 TAMPA RV SUPERSHOW.

We arrived at the RV show about 30 minuts after it opened. Again with our complimentary "flyer" bags in hand we walked that Tampa fairounds inch by inch, foot by foot, 5th wheel by 5th wheel, motorhome by motorhome, vendor by vendor. Again we attended the seminars but this time we knew who the speakers were and what they represented, also words such as domicile or home base were not nearly so forign. this time we spoke to people at the show asked questions at the seminars and introduced ourselves to the speakers. We left the show 30 minuts after it closed with sore feet, terrable headaches, and massive sensory overload.
