Pumpkin Lot second year

Suite 101 has a new policy in place that says that if u use key words for your articles, these key words must appear within the first paragraph of the article. I tried to figure out how to do this but I could not write anything that had anything to do with any article except to just list the words, so here is the list; RV, trailer, lifestyle, camping, workamping, fifth wheel, ok now on to the article.

We are again in Palo Alto, Ca. managing a pumpkin lot for the Acin Brothers. This is our second year and it was a last minute decision. Reasons for not coming back are first a pumpkin lot is long hours, it is hard to find to find help here in Palo Alto and when you do find someone who says that they want to work I'll be damned if the very first time they are on the schedule they don't show. We presently have a homeless person, 2 two high school students, a person who claims to be illegal, and one person that is drawing disability. Now I know that this is not a career choice job but why is it you can't find people without baggage to work for the thirty days? On the other hand it's only 30 days, we now know what to expect, we like the people we are working for, and the money is good.

I just put fuel in my truck, boy am I glad that I can walk to work $3.45 gal and I have to pump it myself.

As a driver who sort of follows the 55mph rule I saw a newspaper headline here in CA that I thought was so true " Slow down, save gas and get flipped off" it said. By the way roads here in CA almost prohibit driving over 55.

Another hurricane, perhaps we should move Florida to near one of the great lakes.

Interesting thing when someone buys three pumpkins they will invariably ask if they can get a discount. Now I ask you do these same people dare ask for a discount at Wal-Mart?

After working the pumpkin lot now for some 20 days it seems that the twenty-dollar bill is by far the bill of choice.... So it makes me wonder if the government has had to print more twenty's because of the advent of the ATM.

Denny's took the pork chop and the meat loaf dinner off the menu this year.... There is a Denny's almost across the street and there are days that we just look at each other and say DENNY'S. It's not that I am any great fan of above but they are handy.
