As it stands right now (June 30) we are still have the mindset that we are staying until the end of the season. We are long suffering and trying to maintain a positive attitude and do a good job even though the company has not resolved any of the problems that we have encountered. They have still not provided us with a full hookup site the power is not high enough to run our refrigerator much less the air conditioner. There are many problems at our work location also. For example the most important tool that we use every day is a generator. The one provided us uses at least a quart of oil every day and even worse it has no muffler. It is loud very loud, but these problems also are brushed off with no response, reason or repairs.
While I am off subject and digressing badly, let me ask if any one out there might have any information on selling pumpkins and or Christmas trees in the Dallas, Texas area? If you have any information please pass it along. July 4 now has come and gone and I have a management question for you. Lets say you have 400 items that you can rent on any given day, why pray tell would you make reservations for 500 and still also rent items to walk ups? Does my math seem wrong here or what? My wife fell on and dislocated her shoulder (she is fine) so I had the opportunity to work with the operations manager of the company for one day (July 5)(she volunteered). I wouldn't have missed it for the world she actually worked very hard all day. She had a chance to see and acknowledged the same problems that I had previously spoken of. When the day ended she said that there were several serious problems that she would personally look into and see what could be done about several others. It is now July 22 and I haven't gotten a phone call or better yet I actually saw her the other day but she didn't speak to me although I did speak to her. I guess all is well if you have your head in the sand. Go To Page: 1 2
