Divij Med - honey made by the wild bees
Dolma - Near-eastern dish - usually meat wrapped in grape leaves, or black currant leaves
Dorad - large sea carp
Dovga - Azerbaidjan soup made from rice, spices, sour milk, and eggs. Sometimes meat is added to it
Drachena - Russian, Belorussian and Ukrainian bread-like dish made of flour, milk and eggs
Draniki - Belorussian name for pancakes made from graded potatoes
Drazhe - large round candy
Droblya - old Russian generic name for small fish
Drozhzhi - yeast
Duhi suhie - mix of ground fragrant spices used in candy and pryanik making
Duhovka - oven
Durshlag - colander
Dyushpara - Azerbaidjan dumplings stuffed with mutton, garlic and herbs

Finikee - date
Frukty - fruit

Gabersup - (from German Hafer) oatmeal soup. This dish is commonly mentioned in Russian literary texts describing life of Russian sailors
Gadazelili - Georgian dish made by cooking cheese with milk for extended period of time. Spices are added to the final product
Galki - Belorussian national dish: small balls made from a mixture of kasha and fish or meat and then either fried or boiled. Final dish is usually served with sour cream
Galushki - Ukranian noodles
Garnir - (1) side dish, (2) decorative (usually vegetable) part of the final presentation of the dish
Garo - Georgian sauce made with graded walnuts, onions, garlic and spices
Gastronom - (1) a person possessing extensive knowledge of food, its variety and quality; (2) store specializing in sales of food & food-related items, ie., a supermarket
Gerlash - Lituvanian (Lithuanian) vegetable stew
Glazur' - glaze, hard icing used in decoration of cookies and cakes
Glos' - flat fish either sole or flounder
Glyas - unclarified consume used in sauce preparation
Gogol'-Mogol' - egg yolks whipped with sugar & rum or cognac. Rum or cognac is omitted if the drink is intended for a child
Golubtsi - stuffed cabbage leaves
Gooz -goose
Gorchitsa - mustard
Goroh - peas
Govyadina - beef
Gozinaki - Georgian confection made with nuts (usually walnuts) & sugar syrup
Granadin - sugar made from the roots of a young pomegranate tree
Granat - pomegranate
Grechaniki - Ukrainian bread made from the kasha (buckwheat) flour based yeast dough
Grechka - buckwheat
Grechnevaya krupa - buckwheat also called kasha
Grenki - toast, most commonly fried in butter;
