My friends -
So many things have changed recently. I moved to another state - I'm working on completing another book - plus my free lance writing is a full time job. I have been here since Nov. 1996. I was a managing editor for part of that time and I have been a contributing editor for over 6 years at this running topic. In the end, it has been a wonderful experience and I have met so many special people through this topic. Many runners that read my book come visit here and have become friends of mine. I have lost touch with many I wish I had not - I have had a difficult time keeping up with all my email - which, on a busy week, runs into the hundreds. Thank you for coming here week after week - for all the email and wonderful comments you shared. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your life - both in the real world and in the cyber world. It has been a great run - but now it is time for other things. I can hear you asking - "is running still going to be part of my life?" Well, you bet! If at all possible. Time will tell. Good luck to you my friends. I'd like to leave you with a passage from my book; " Through running, I learned that by taking that next step when I longed to quit was to experience success. I do not run for the person next to me, nor for the timer at the end of a race or even for my loved ones. No, I run for myself - I run to embrace life. I run with a grateful heart because for now, for this moment, I can run. It is a delight and privilege. But make no mistake; it is not always easy. However, in my opinion, easy Go To Page: 1 2
