A film production crew will be here at my home TODAY! So in view of that I am taking this week off.

Why is a film crew coming all the way from Canada to northeast Pa.? Well, so they may film a true hero - a blind hero that saved her family from certain danger - that risked her own life to protect those she loved.
Okay - so who is this hero?
Well, the hero is Aggie, my blind cat.
Oh, come on, you answer... how can that be?

The TV program that Alan Thicke ( star of "Growing Pains" fame) will be narrating is called "Miracle Pets" and though I do not as yet know when that show will air, I will soon and will post that information here.
For those of you that own pets - give them an extra treat this week. After all - you never know how they may help you one day. They could even save your life.
I'd be interested to learn how many of you have amazing stories about your pets. Most runners seem to be especially fond of animals, so if you have a story to tell, email it to me. I plan on doing a series of runner-animal stories if I get enough submissions.
