away from the window. (One sock print - one shoe print). The policeman just stood there shaking his head as a big grin spread across his face. He agreed that Aggie must have stopped the robber from entering the house.

Aggie was strutting all around the room as we told her what a brave cat she was! The policeman gave her a couple of pats on her head as she 'talked' to him. He told us this was a story he'd never forget! He mentioned to us a number robberies had taken place in the area. He added that this robber seemed to prefer homes that did not have a dog. He added, with a grin, that the robber would probably think twice about invading a home with cats now, too. We all laughed at hat, but later I must admit that it was a frightening thought to me that a robber had almost gotten into our home while we were sound asleep! He would have too, except for the brave actions of Aggie! How she knew to attack him is a mystery. She has never scratched a person in her life except for that incident. She is just a big happy cat!

She is now, at the time of this writing, 12 years old. And just as sassy as ever.
