ingredients in the crock pot early in the morning. Set it on high.

Now go for your run; and do some other stuff. In 4 to 5 hours you will have a delicious meal to eat. The real delight of this meal is that once you put it in the crock pot, you never need to look at it again until you are ready to eat.

Serve with warm bread, or corn muffins and top the chili with grated cheddar cheese. A warm and hearty meal that is an easy cook recipe.

Note: if you use pre-cooked red beans from a can, the chili will be ready to eat in as little as 3 hours, depending on your crock pot.

Now that winter is upon us, how do you stay in shape if you can't run outside? Well, maybe a treadmill is the answer. Or perhaps you don't need a treadmill, but are thinking about buying some other piece of cross training equipment. If so, you may want to take a look at this web site. They have a greta selection of equipment and the prices are pretty good too. The web site is called Fitness Auction. It is worth a look.

Happy New Year everyone! See you next year.
