The Rubber Web

It has been awhile since I updated links and so felt it necessary to do some surfing on my existing references. I was so glad I did.

For those of you who haven't visited the Stampington site in awhile, you need to stop by. I know most rubber stampers are familiar with Somerset Studios and their ongoing contribution to rubber stamping as an art form, but their website is also a wealth of creative information. There are products available, but the instruction and valuable descriptions of projects make this a "must surf site" in my book. The people at Somerset are always on the cutting edge of whats new and exciting...so is you've not picked up the magazine lately, make the site a priority on your to do list. The website refers to their current publications, so you can view portions on-line to determine if you need to have them in your collection, (I must confess that I find very few of their publications that aren't something I NEED).

Another site on my page is the DRstamping site. This site offers something for everyone from beginner to advanced stamper. They recently held a swap for CD envelopes and formica chips. The posted samples are amazing and worthy of viewing just for the artistic style alone, but if they become inspirational, all the better. I like the wide variety of options at this site. Book reviews, website reviews, project ideas, information and instruction are well defined. If you need definitions or explanations of techniques, this is a great place to start. This is sort of one stop shop for rubber stampers who are looking for information prior to surfing. It may be one of the best places to start your search for on a variety of rubber stamp subject, because it is so thorough.

Jangle offers a wide variety of projects as well and is a good stop for beginners to intermediate stampers. The instructions are generally concise and allow new stampers to familiarize themselves with exciting new techniques with ease.

The other two links are more product driven, but both Clearsnap and Stamp Diva have great information for new and expert stampers and provide a variety of styles and artwork for stamps. Clearsnap is the home of the Rollagraph, still one of the great tools for stampers.

If you haven't surfed these sites in a while, visit them again. You'll be glad you did!
