The Rubber Stamp Resolution

Sometimes I think the reason that resolutions are so popular in January is that we've all overindulged since November and our ethical side demands we cut back. Resolutions play into that scenario rather well. So if your psyche is working overtime on a desire to get organized...or if you just got grundlele of stuff and need to find somewhere to put it...this column if for you.

There are wholwebsiteses these days dedicated to stamp organization. Certainly most stampers would love to have an incredible cabinet to store their stamps in...and at http://www.mtpdesigns.com you'll find the perfect set up for your collection. Other sites that include lovely cabinetry are http://www.masterpiececabinets.com and http://www.collectors-cabinets.com

If the budget just won't allow that kind of investment there are smaller wall hung display racks that are available on the web. At http://www.rubberstampstorage.com you'll find a nice wall cabinet that will allow you both to display and store your stamps. Its ability to be customized will allow you to store a variety of stamp sizes.

Do you travel with your stamps, or just not have space in your home to devote an entire room to your collection? Perhaps you need to invest in a tote bag that would allow you easy access to your hobby, but have greater mobility. Look no further than http://www.stampandgo.com This tote system is geared directly toward stampers and allows easy storage while creating a completely versatile and mobile stamping "room".

One thing most stampers have is accessories that help them create their beautiful projects. One popular accessory is the Radiant Pearls line of product. At http://www.myheartstamps4u.com/stamps/pa... there is a great wood storage unit for all of your radiant pearls containers. At http://www.stampinktous.com/ribbon_stora... there is a case for both your ink pads and ribbon spools to make card-making an easier task.

Often the suggestions that make organization the easiest come from fellow stampers. Who knows better what tips work best than someone in the "trenches" of stampingwebsiteebsite for the Rubber Stamps Club has some great tips on organization. To access the site go to http://www.rubberstampsclub.com and look for the organization tips. Be sure to view those byWinewskiWinewShelley Lewerke Lewerke, both of whom have great tips on getting organized.

While you are organizing, don't forget that any craft materials you decide to cast aside might be a welcome donation to your local elementary school, pre-school or adult day care center. Since you'll be so organized, you may even find time to volunteer to share your love of stamping with someone new!
