Its that time of year. The cool weather, the gorgeous leaves and stores full of jack-o-lanterns and broomsticks herald the coming of Halloween. Here in Utah every home seems to have haystacks and pumpkins covering the porch, or witches hitting the garage or trees! In the "spirit" of the season I've found some great stamps to help you celebrate with you and yours. Visiting a new site for the first time is always a treat and if you head to http://www.rubberd.com I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The home page is well laid out with visuals to the different areas so you know exactly what you are surfing to. They carry current information on the Harry Potter line, which will be exceptionally hot come November with the release of the movie...but is always popular with Harry fans. You'll want to look at their line of Brillance Stamp Pads and possibly purchase the Tiramisu colors. They'd be excellent for fall projects. The Autumn Leaf card project at this site is beautiful. Another site you'll want to visit is http://www.inkers-a-way.com/halloween2.h... There you'll find the cutest mom and dad halloween stamps. The parents are dressed in costumes, but mom is pushing a stroller and dad is surrounded by the dog and holding a flashlight. They are a great slice of Trick or Treating for today's family. If you are a traditionalist, nothing says Halloween like Peanuts characters. After all, what is Halloween without seeing It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, atleast once. At http://www.dotnet.com/~cowtown you can see an awesome selection of Peanuts licensed stamps, including Sally and Linus in the Pumpkin Patch and Snoopy as a scarecrow and resting on a pumpkin. For those of you aiming for a more sophisticated look, or if you are interested in collage art or altered books you'll want to visit http://www.rubberbaby.com Collage art sheets are available for Halloween in several styles and you've got to view the Vintage Halloween Greetings. Taken for old Halloween cards, the script and style of these phrases is wonderful. They would add such character to any Halloween project. There is also a sheet of Halloween photos available for sale, that could be incorporated with the phrases or stamps that you have in your own collection. I tend to be a pushover for any play on words...maybe its the writer in me. Visiting the About Rubberstamps at http://www.aboutrubberstamps.com/hallowe... showed me one of my favorite finds on this search. Its a stamp that says "Hi Ghoulfriend" in this fun lettering style. There is also a dancing witch that would be perfect for a Halloween party invitation. Go To Page: 1 2
