At this time of year, most of us resolve to start next year with better discipline and a greater sense of whats important in our lives. If you are a rubber stamper your resolutions can extend to your craft just as easily. I came up with ten possibilities and some sites to make keeping your resolutions easier. 1) Use three of your stamps that you've not used for awhile. 2) Click on a new link and try a new project. 3) Purchase a new magazine. Go to http://www.rubberstampinglinks.com/magaz... to see a variety of possibilities. 4) Try a new technique. For a fun crayon technique visit http://www.carolheppner.8k.com and see what crayons and stamping can create. 5) Add something new to your creations. Try fiber from http://www.thecardladies.com. Their gallery will inspire you-especially the before and after section. Who knew fiber could add so much? 6) Join a swap. When you get your new magazine (see #3) there are ads in the back for swaps of projects. 7) Have a stamp get together with friends. Invite several friends to bring their stamping stuff for a friendly get together. You could set a theme or just inspire one another with your latest projects. Keep it simple and if you serve food, eat before or after stamping. No one wants the guilt of ruining a card someone spent 30 minutes creating with a spilled soda! 8) Organize one thing in your rubber stamp area, whether it be your embossing powders, inks, or stamps. It may inspire you to organize everything! 9) Try a new paper or surface. At http://www.bayleysboxes.com you can find unusual containers to try out your craft on. They even have CD envelopes so you can mail your CD creations. 10) Mail your mom, or your friend, or your hubby, or your child. With all your rubber stamping creativity you probably have several creations that you just love...don't keep them to yourself. Share them with those you care about. 11) O.K.-I know I said there would be ten, but its a woman's perogative to change her mind right? Resolve to check out this column every two weeks for the newest Rubber Stamp techniques, products and sites to visit! Go To Page: 1
