Gotta Stamper on Your List-Stop Here Before You Shop!

Santa's Elves might need a little help if they aren't rubber stampers so send them to this site and highlight the gift you want...or use these ideas to brighten the life of your favorite stamping compadre.

Most craft sites on-line include some basic rubber stamping supplies. Try www.rogersonline.com or www.provocraft.com for basic purchases. Character stamps can be found by using google, an awesome search engine. For instance if you are looking for a Garfield stamp for a cat loving stamper, go to www.google.com and type in Garfield rubber stamp. This search engine will pull up sites that carry those stamps, as well as the company that holds the license for the Garfield rubber stamp line. Once you've selected and ordered your gift you might purchase a plastic container or gift basket to be used as storage after the recipient opens your gift. Now on to the gift ideas:
For the Greeting Card Guru: She can never get enough stuff for making her wonderful cards. Supply her with blank cards and envelopes or a selection of handmade paper and an envelope template like one from Deja View or Kreate-A-Lope. Include a stamp that says Celebrate, Thank You or Congratulations. Choose a set of stamps that are floral or geometric because these versatile sets can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the look you recipient wants to create. Tuck in a couple of Dauber Duos from Tsukineko for the "piece de resistance".

For the Home Dec Diva: Several companies carry blank white heavy cardboard products that are perfect for rubber stamping. Purchase a wastebasket, tissue box, lampshade and a couple of switch plate covers and tuck them in a large gift bag, along with some stamps specifically made for home dec. projects. Backstreet, Plaid and Stampa Rosa all have great home dec. lines. A hole punch from McGill or Emaginations will allow the stamper to finish off her design with raffia or ribbon. Ink that matches the color scheme of the stamper's home completes this gift pack.

For the Scrapbook Lover: Acid-free card stock and ink are the foundation of this gift pack. Basic black ink and clear embossing powder, as well as an embossing gun are could inclusions, as well as a set of colored markers or pencils to color in stamped designs.
