The following humor break brought to you courtesy of rec.games.frp.dnd.

Things You Don't Want to Hear During a Game:

"How many hit points does your character have again?"

"Mage PC: I cast fireball, and it should do some great damage since I'm a 10th-level mage! Woo hoo! I rock, guys (to the other four players)

DM: You cast fireball in a narrow hallway... um... OK."

The DM rolls a series of dice and then says, "Do you really like your character?"

The DM rolls a few dice and laughs. "You know that Sword you had? The Sword of Kas, wasn't it?"

Player: "WHADDYA MEAN HAD?!?!?!"

DM:"Heh, heh, heh..."

"Say, how many d20s do you have? I might need 'em..."

"Suddenly, and without warning..."

"I'm not sure which wand this is. You might want to duck."

"Where's the Thief?"

"Where's the Kender?"

And Now for Something Different:

Drinn's Grove has been revamped to include game review sheets and instant player feedback, as well as a heap of plots and other items to enhance your gaming pleasure.

More things you don't want to hear, this time from other players.

I'm pretty damaged, so don't want to help with that melee, I'll just fire my crossbow.

How was I supposed to know that lightning ...
