Jesus, Asparagus, Gopher

In live action roleplaying, challenges between players are settled with the time-honored game of rock-paper-scissors¹... at least, at most LARPS, that¹s how it¹s done. Some gamers get a bit more creative. Here is my favorite variation, courtesy of alt.frp.misc:

First, the poses.

Jesus: Jump up and down three times, then spread your arms as if crucified.

Gopher: Hop, then snarl your upper lip above your teeth, so that you seem to have big, ferocious buck teeth. Simultaneously tuck your arms against your chest and leave curled hands hanging down.

Asparagus: Clamp your arms against your sides and stand rigid. For added flair, fluff your hair into a point.

Now for the fun part - the permutations: P

Jesus vs. Jesus: Negate each other. Since there is actually only one Messiah, therefore the other must be the Antichrist. Think matter vs. antimatter.

Jesus vs. Gopher: .Jesus wins, as He has dominion over animals.

Jesus vs. Asparagus: Not His favorite vegetable, so, the green stuff wins as Jesus makes a yecchh face.

Gopher vs. Gopher: Cancel each other, as they get involved in gopher introductions, much like dogs do, upon meeting.

Gopher vs. Asparagus: Gophers will eat anything; this round goes to the beastie.

Asparagus vs. Asparagus: Whichever player shows her true understanding of the vegetative state first. Usually indicated by falling asleep while still maintaing perfect aspargus posture.
