The Ramp

his motives in tracking the dog sound like sibling rivalry gone horribly awry.

I must give Koontz credit here. The man knows how to write a good dog. Einstein is a dog you won’t forget. Despite his intelligence, he is still as innocent as a small child. After reading the book, you can’t help but sit back and wish that somewhere out there a dog like Einstein did truly exist.

Some other Koontz books that include canines are: Fear Nothing and its sequel Seize the Night - These books include a dog name Orson who is the result of the same type of research as Einstein. Tick-Tock - This book is actually a very dark comedy, so be prepared to put your tongue in your cheek before reading it. Dragon Tears - A very scary, very disturbing book. Part of the story is told by looking through the eyes of a very brave, but also very ordinary street mutt.
