What I Did On Summer Vacationgot to go for a R-I-D-E. After all, he's 2 long years older than me and I'm considered an adult. But Wendy wouldn't take me away. No, she made me stay for yet another activity. It was something called a Temperament Test. Basically, she had to walk me through all these weird obstacles and a judge rated how I reacted to them. The obstacles included walking over strange surfaces, hearing a loud noise, and having an umbrella open nearby. HA, as if things like that could phase me after 9 years in Wendy's household! My favorite obstacle was when a lady stepped out with a bucket full of something, rattled it loudly, and sat it down. I think the sound was supposed to startle me a little, but it didn't. In fact, I ran over and put my head in the bucket as soon as it hit the ground to see if I could eat whatever was inside. Unfortunately, it was just a bunch of rocks. Wendy's favorite obstacle was when a weird guy dressed in a raincoat came out with a big stick and acted like he was threatening her. I just looked at the guy and gave him my deepest growl. We're not sure what kind of markings I got for that obstacle, but I know Wendy was proud of me. She's been telling people that I didn't loose my head, but still let the guy know that I had his number and that he'd better back off from my human. I passed the Temperament Test. Not only did I earn yet another of those useless badges that Wendy and Matt love, but I also earned an official title that will be added on after my registered name. My name is now: Lady Chelsea Capulet CD, CGC, TT, DSA The CD is my obedience title from way back in my young days. The CGC stands for Canine Good Citizen. The TT is my new title for passing the temperament test. And the DSA is basically to let everyone know that I am now officially a Dog Scout of America. Not bad, huh? The nice lady who oversaw the test even called me a "grand, old lady". Wendy was so proud. As for me, I'm wondering just who she was calling old. Uh-oh, I think Wendy's starting to stir. I'd better sign off fast. Let me just say that I had the time of my life at Dog Scout Camp
