growing in the wrong direction anyway. Fertilize your bush if it needs it, and make sure it is well hydrated by next Friday. Collect the things you'll need for this air layering excercise:
Supplies An X-acto blade, or small bladed knife
Spaghnum moss, potting soil or a peat pellet
Clear plastic
Twist-Ties or florist's wire
Black plastic or dark cloth
We are also going to be propagating via the venerable but lazy "Rock and Dirt" method, so if you have a climber or a rose with flexible canes, fertilize and hydrate this one as well. The supplies you will need are as follows: One flexible rose cane, one rock or brick, and the good earth beneath your feet.
