Romantic Comedy Corner signs off!

© Terri Clark

It is with great sadness that I write this. February would have been my two year anniversary with Suite101. I've loved writing my Romantic Comedy Corner column and I have enjoyed meeting the readers that frequent it. Unfortunately, on New Year's Eve, Suite101 announced that they would no longer pay their contributing editors. I won't write for a company that snubs its writers. Like any profession, I deserve to be paid for the work I do. I cannot say enough how disappointed I am. I feel like I've not only lost a job, but a friend. This is such a sad way to begin the new year. Please know I appreciate my readers very much. (Over 300 subscribers!) I hope you've enjoyed my reviews over the years. I welcome comments and/or goodbyes in the discussion area. Should things change at the suite or should I find a new review gig, I'll let you know. Hopefully I'll see you at the movies or on the bookshelves. May your new year be filled with love and laughter.

Best wishes always, Terri Clark
