"Pam Short's broken both her legs and I want to dance with you." Ken Railings to Scott's ex-partner, Liz Holt.

"I want to dance with you...your way, at the Pan Pacifics." Fran to Scott.

"You can't dance my way, you don't win."
"It's just because you've been overdoing it. If you keep it simpler and dance from the heart...."
Scott and Fran.

"To live with fear is a life half lived." Fran to Scott.

"It's the inconceivable sight of seeing Scott dance with Fran." Scott's cheeky, little sister giving voice to everyone's profound shock.

"I don't want you to be like them. You're better than all of them." Scott to Fran.

"Hot stuff may be able to shake his tail feather, but he knows chicken sh*! about rhythm." Fran's grandma.

"There are no new steps!" Barry Fife, President of the Australian Dance Federation.

"Son, can I bend your ear for a tick?" Doug, Scott's dad.

"You've got your Pan Pacifics to win and I'm back in beginners where I belong." Fran to Scott.

"Listen to the rhythm. Don't be scared." Fran's grandma.

Best moment:
I actually picked two for this movie, although there are so many memorable moments that I could name several other favorites.

#1. Scott dancing by himself in the studio. This scene is riveting and sexy as all get out.

#2. The finale! I guarantee you'll be glued to your seat. The ending is nothing short of thrilling, breath-takingly beautiful, funny, and emotional. A gift neatly wrapped up with a vibrant bow!
