LOVE SPELLS : The Magic Survives

As far back as ancient times, persons in search of that elusive phenomena called love believed in the use of spells and charms to attract it. And, even today there are those who still trust that a magical word, charm or amulet will invoke love and bid it to come alive.

Today, one need not journey over mountain and stream to go to the local cnchantress, wizard, shaman or the wise-woman for these spells. All a persons need to do is go to the local bookstore, library or search the web. One can even get spells from home at Spells-on-the-Web (http://www.spells.com) and other cyberspace locations. At Spells-on-the-Web, the buyer can select "regular" spells or spells "designed just for (his/her) particular need or want." These purchases include "all the ingredients and talismans required, plus step by step spell instructions." So, unlike the downside of using these practices in the past, a person won't have to scrounge around for his/her own supplies.

Another place to find love spells is Me2u.com, an on-line romantic gifts retailer which sells a book called Bewitched..."a sumptious guide to love magic," for those who are looking for love, yearning to fall in love, or trying to strengthen their love. Also readily available is a book called "The Ancient Book Of Love Spells,Hexes, Voodoo and Evil Curses," by the Black Arts Witch of Africa: Shozola DoraStar.

But books aren't the only way to light your life with love, there's always the "Love Candle," also sold by Me2u.com. By using these 7-inch male and female "symbols," cast in red wax (red being the symbol of love), buyers cast their own spells. To do this, they position the figures at a distance, but so that they face each other, then light them, and just a few inches at a time then move them slowly toward each other, a couple of inches at a time. When the figures finally meet, they will melt into each other, thereby signifying that love and marriage are soon to follow.
