As he stood beside his father's marker at the Baron Von Hirsch Cemetery, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Navratil heard his father's voice singing songs that were sung to him as a child. It was then that he decided he could no longer keep the secret inside. He shared his father's dying words and love for his mother, adding a tragedy of love to the casualties suffered on the ill-fated voyage of the Titanic.
